Meet Dr. Lisa Misiak
Staying Well With Chiropractic
When Dr. Lisa was growing up, her sister had chronic kidney and bladder infections. A chiropractor helped resolve these issues by finding a curvature in her spine that was putting pressure on the delicate nerves that control the function to those organs. She did so well that the entire family began chiropractic care. “Chiropractic gave me the ability to thrive when I was young. It allowed me to know what I wanted to do with my life from an early age.” Dr. Lisa formed a relationship with this chiropractor, babysitting his children and working in his office. She enjoyed learning about a profession that focused on natural, drug free healing.
These experiences cemented in her mind that she wanted to assist others in enjoying incredible health from a young age onward.
An Education in Natural Health
She attended Logan College of Chiropractic, obtaining a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. There, the main focus was on the foundation and structure of the spine and using low-force techniques.
Our patients love that our adjustments are gentle.” – Dr. Lisa Misiak
Chiropractic college was where Dr. Lisa met Dr. Mike. They’ve been a part of our community for more than two decades.
Dr. Lisa continues her education by taking regular courses on a variety of health and chiropractic topics each year. She loves seeing entire families benefit from chiropractic care, especially expecting moms and infants. She is Webster certified and a member of the (ICPA) International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.
Outside of the Office
When she isn’t helping patients, Dr. Lisa stays busy with her three adult children — two boys and a girl who have been under chiropractic care since the day they were born. Together, they enjoy traveling, spending time outside and cooking.
Dr. Lisa is the only female chiropractor in our county. Experience her caring, compassionate touch by scheduling your appointment today!
